Bugs Bunny is the star of this cartoon from 1958, and the musical saw plays a big part in this production. The cartoon is titled “Knighty Knight Bugs” and it’s the only Bugs Bunny cartoon to win an Academy Award. The plot revolves around the theft of a “singing sword,” and Bugs is chosen to save the kingdom by retrieving it from the dreaded Black Knight. This clip is just part of the cartoon, but you can hear the saw about :20. You can hear the bowing sound on the saw which, in my opinion, adds to the effect, making the saw seem more real and magical. It’s not every day that you get to watch a cartoon that revolves around a musical saw. Take a look!
